Application process

Each campaign states its own eligibility requirements and selection method, but the normal candidate journey follows a common sequence.

  1. Find an open campaign.
Read the role profile, eligibility requirements, closing date, location or working arrangements and any role-specific conditions.
  2. Submit your application.
Provide the information and evidence requested for that campaign before the closing date.
  3. Initial assessment or sift.
Applications may be assessed against the published requirements before candidates progress.
  4. Assessment and interview.
The campaign explains the assessment, interview or other selection activity used for the role.
  5. Conditional selection.
Candidates who meet the selection standard may progress to the required pre-appointment checks.
  6. Appointment and induction.
Appointment is confirmed only when required checks are complete and the candidate has received the formal joining information for the role.
